School Dinners and Snacks
The school promotes healthy eating and we ask that only fruit and either milk or unflavoured water are consumed at break times.
Fruit in School
We are part of the Government Fruit Initiative where the pupils in Key Stage 1 are provided with a piece of fruit each day. In Key Stage 2 we are able to provide fruit for a small cost through our school tuck shop.
All Nursery children and pupil premium children are entitled to free milk. The rest of the school can purchase milk on a termly basis.
School Meals and Menus
School Meal Menus from September 2020
The menus work on a 3 week cycle:
If your child will be staying in school at lunchtime, we recommend that they have a cooked dinner. The food is of excellent quality, with a choice of main courses and desserts from the menu. As an alternative, children can bring a packed lunch, which should be a balanced meal containing only one sweet item. Please do not send fizzy drinks, or drinks in glass bottles.
Whatever meal they have during dinnertime, all children are under the supervision of the Lunchtime Supervisors, who work under the direction of the Head Teacher. Children are expected to behave properly at the table and subsequently on the playground. Children who fail to behave in an appropriate manner will not be allowed to remain on the premises during lunchtime.
- 1 day = £ 2.10
Dinner money can be paid through Parent Pay
1 weeks notice in writing is required if you wish to change from school dinners to packed lunches and vice versa.
